There are many ways to customise the Electroverse app - from map style to theme - you can even unlock avatars depending on how you use the Electroverse app!
This festive season, we'd love our global Electroverse community to get their creative electrons flowing and help us design the latest avatar to be displayed in-app. The artists of the winning designs can win up to £75 charging credit - or the equivalent in your local currency - and some other prizes!
So, how to enter? Let’s get plugged in…
A small avatar design that is related to the world of EV charging - whether this be a happy-looking plug or a dancing electric spark - we’re just looking for creative ideas!
When it comes to avatars, simple designs usually work best. If you’d like to see what we’ve already designed, head to your Electroverse app and tap ‘Customise my app’ from within the account settings. It’s here that you’ll find our current list of avatars.
We’re opening the competition globally to adults and children (the electric generation). Adults (& parents/guardians of children submitting designs) must be customers of Octopus Electroverse.
There will be a winner and a runner-up for both the adult and children submissions.
On top of having your creations displayed in the Electroverse app, winning artists will receive:
£75 charging credit (adult category)
£50 Amazon voucher (children’s category) + £25 charging credit for their parent/guardian
For the runners-up:
£50 charging credit (adult category)
£35 Amazon voucher (children’s category) + £15 charging credit for their parent/guardian
For anyone competing outside the UK, any charging credit prizes you win will be credited to your Electroverse account in your local currency!

This competition is open to any Octopus Electroverse customer from 06/12/2023 - 08/01/2024.
One submission per user per category - this means that children can enter separately from their parents/guardians. If you submit in a single category more than once, only your first submission will be reviewed.
Winners and runners-up will be contacted via email by 22/01/2024.
The charging credit amount can not be transferred to any other Octopus accounts, nor can it be reimbursed to any bank account.
The Amazon voucher amount can not be transferred to any other Octopus accounts, nor can it be reimbursed to any bank account.
Winning designs will be digitally transformed by the Octopus Electroverse design team and released with the next app update. To keep avatars within the Octopus Electroverse branding, winning designs may be altered slightly (e.g. colours).
Winning designs (including runners-up) will be announced via social media. Other submissions may also be publicly acknowledged.
